Free US L2TP/IPsec VPN Account for All Devices

Free US L2TP/IPsec VPN account for Android, iOS and Windows, with a full setup guide, troubleshooting tips and server details at 24clan.NET.

A free US L2TP/IPsec VPN account lets you connect from Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows or macOS using the VPN client already built into your device. No extra app is required: you add the US server details once, then connect with your username, password and pre-shared key.

This guide explains what you need, how to set up the US L2TP/IPsec connection on each platform, and how to fix the most common connection errors. If L2TP/IPsec is blocked on your network, see the alternative US tunneling accounts linked at the end of this page.

What you need for a US L2TP/IPsec connection

  • The US server address (hostname or IP address).
  • Your L2TP username and password.
  • The IPsec pre-shared key (PSK).

All three are supplied with your 24clan L2TP/IPsec access. Account availability and the latest server details are announced in our official Telegram channel. If you are new to L2TP, start with the L2TP/IPsec overview to compare locations.

How to set up the US L2TP/IPsec VPN

Android

  1. Open Settings → Network & internet → VPN and tap Add VPN profile.
  2. Enter a name, choose L2TP/IPSec PSK as the type, then enter the US server address and the pre-shared key.
  3. Save the profile, tap it, enter your username and password, then tap Connect.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → VPN and tap Add VPN Configuration.
  2. Select L2TP, then fill in the description, server, account and password. Enter the shared secret.
  3. Tap Done, then turn on the VPN switch to connect.

Windows 10 and 11

  1. Open Settings → Network & internet → VPN and click Add VPN.
  2. Set the provider to Windows (built-in), enter a name and the US server address, then choose L2TP/IPsec with pre-shared key.
  3. Enter the pre-shared key, select User name and password, then save and connect.

macOS

  1. Open System Settings → Network, click the VPN section, then add a VPN configuration.
  2. Choose L2TP over IPSec, enter the server address and account name, then open Authentication Settings.
  3. Enter your password and the shared secret, click OK, then Apply and connect.

Tips for a stable L2TP/IPsec connection

  • Copy the server address and pre-shared key exactly; the PSK is case-sensitive.
  • Turn on Send all traffic (macOS) or keep the default gateway enabled (Windows) if you want all traffic routed through the US server.
  • Some mobile carriers, hotels and school networks block L2TP ports. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data before assuming the account is offline.
  • For networks that block L2TP/IPsec, use an SSH WebSocket US account or a US V2Ray account instead.

Common L2TP/IPsec problems and fixes

The connection times out

Check that the server address has no typos, try another network, and confirm the service is online in our Telegram channel.

Authentication fails

Re-enter the username, password and pre-shared key. Remove trailing spaces and make sure the account is still active.

Connected but no internet

Disconnect other VPN apps, set DNS to automatic, then reconnect. If the problem continues, test another US location such as WebSocket or V2Ray.

Is L2TP/IPsec secure?

L2TP/IPsec encrypts traffic between your device and the VPN server, but it does not make you anonymous. Use HTTPS websites and do not share your account details.
